Welcome to my Web portfolio. For more than 22 years I was a staff member at Current Science,a twice-monthly popular science magazine for middle-school and high-school students published by Weekly Reader. Since Weekly Reader closed in 2012, I have done freelance work for Teacher Created Materials, Scholastic, Dorling Kindersley, Science News for Students, and National Geographic. This portfoliofeatures a sample of articles that I wrote or edited while I was managing editor of Current Science. It also includes sample pages from Science Spin, a monthly, four-page science supplement to Weekly Reader for readers in grades 4 and 5 that I edited; from three digital issues of Current Science and a science trivia game app for the iPad that I collaborated on; and from several books that I have edited, written, or co-authored.
